On April 29, 1997, Masimo Corporation and ZOLL Medical Corporation announced a licensing agreement under which ZOLL will integrate Masimo's pulse oximetry signal processing and sensor technologies into its current and future products. ZOLL is a leading manufacturer of defibrillation and monitoring products world-wide and is adopting Masimo Signal Extraction Technology (Masimo SET®) as its primary pulse oximetry platform.
